Death like Silence

As Jim said,

Death makes angels of us all
And gives us wings where we had shoulders
Smooth as ravens claws..

The endless ocean of suffering,
Is there all that there is?
Cold, cold water surrounds me
Waves got me,  they have me
Drowning in all the love I've ever felt
Let me drown then

You may deprive me of whatever I possess, for my greed instigated the amassing of wealth
and you are entitled to my lot, if it will satisfy you.

For death brings silence, Numbing all the pain
Death of the soul,
 Shining light turning into dust

You may do unto me whatever you wish, but you shall not be able to touch my Truth.

Go on then, annihilate me
Let the heavens bleed, all angels are dead
Their wings torn, splattered red
No one heard them whimper, or take that racked breath
Pure hearts shall be slaughtered with no mercy
Their remains will then be burnt
Scattered across the sea,
A death like silence would fall
And so the light became the darkness.

You may tie hands with chains and my feet with shackles and put me
In a dark prison, but who shall not enslave my thinking,
For it is Free,
Like the breeze in the spacious sky

~

I asked a question some time  before,
Does this darkness have a name?

It's my name

light to light
ashes to ashes
dust, finally to dust
