The Lone Wolf's Moon

Blow out the flame
Bring an endless night, steeped in darkness
Floating in space
No more do I try and erase
Creased sheets, tender veins
Broken glasses, wine stained
A quiet sound of his breath, the scent of his flesh is still raw on my skin
Unknowingly I stumble upon
Wherever the fire blazes brightest,
A moment of magic
Inside the gentle bends of a black rose

The wolf is wounded, wandering in the wilderness
Blood smears the virgin snow,
Drawn into every familiar fence, only to get cut again and again
that barbed wire, digging deeper and deeper
She can barely stand,
But she still searches for his smell
Which she remembers very well

Which she Remembers very well~

A deep grey cloud grazes past the silver moon
Did you hear him laugh, universe?
For even in the starkness of Silence, his laughter sings

Its delicate,
 as snow brushes the earth
Light meshed of moon and sun, gets caught
I can Even inhale it, as the air
It makes me fly, as if I become the wind
And it will make me Dance,
until life's bass-line stops

Yet, it can slice as if it were a steel sword
As fire it can melt, billowing like a dragon's roar
Countless arrows it can bury deep
Bleeding, barely breathing

Maybe he is only the Madness of stars
or perhaps just the echoing loneliness of the moon in my window,
There is No control
Infront of such immense black beauty
I surrender

Tell them you came and saw,
and looked into my eyes

Make no mistake, When mighty Winter comes
The howling will have begun,
and as the long night descends, one must not forget

No matter the holes in her soul,  The lone wolf still has claws

As long and sharp as yours
As long and sharp as yours
