Look deep into the eyes,
Of the pretty child shaking dreams from her hair
Watch tangled stars fall to her soft pink feet
Beneath which silver streams flow
Chasing lilac butterflies
As they gently pave a way
white gold trees, crystal breeze

Where did she go?
She was here a minute ago, yes she,
sunburnt eyes, flaming red
Consumed by the fire
Is she dead?
or just fast asleep in a rose cotton bed
Breathing blissfully,
tender palette of pink and red
petals all around her nestled head

But a roaring storm rolls forth,
Lightening strikes like shards of glass from up north
Awaking creatures of the night
Predators of all things made of light
Hungry for blood, starved of love
Emerged from the black hole
Darkness their only name,
The devastatingly beautiful game

Watching her breathe,
a stray stand fluttered upon her rosy silken cheek
For a second the lust for blood dissolved
Because even those, who were so cold
all they wanted
was to touch her face
As if it would warm them
Perhaps only for a moment
The warmth of her
would but for a second, heat their icy numb souls

For they too, once glowed
From behind the mountain, like a forever rising sun
They shone
Even through the silent night, velvet hour
Their pale light echoed from the centre of a silver moon
the Only sound of music was their laughter
And there she was, breaking into stars
Dressed in pearly white, dancing in the centre, holding their gaze,
Temptations ran high, exploding the sky
Danger on the edge of the mountain
,The cages ripped open, animals set free

With the urge, a powerful surge
The wind swirled , every time she moved
with each graceful spin the trees too swayed alongside
As they watched how the moon bathed her
porcelain skin
They couldn't resist her,
They couldn't tame her
So they pulled her closer
One by one
Devoured her soul
Tainted her mind
with all things dark yet most divine
So only they would see her shine
She fell in love with all their darkest parts, in hope to save their golden light
You wouldn't find her easily, as she's taken refuge in the forest
But if you do find her
chasing lilac butterflies, laughing with wild roses
Look again, deep into her eyes
Its where she saves all their lost light
All the Lost Light
